Couples Intensive Therapy

A new approach to traditional couples therapy.

Couples Intensive is a new approach to traditional one-hour sessions. Many couples find it challenging to commit to weekly sessions with the demands of modern life, others are in distress and can’t afford to wait for relief or for answers before it is too late.

Couples Intensive Therapy is faster, more effective and is less expensive than years of therapy. Couples Intensive offers longer and more frequent sessions spanning over a condensed period. It provides the opportunity to have couples therapy sessions back-to-back can be one of the best ways to create fast and lasting change in a shorter time. The momentum it builds is far more powerful and the healing is more intensified. The transformational effects of these therapies are often comparable to 5 to 6 months of traditional weekly sessions.

Couples who might benefit from intensive therapy:

  • Those where traditional couples therapy has not been effective

  • Couples considering divorce or a major life change

  • Couples who have ongoing conflicts and an inability to effectively communicate with each other

  • Couples who have dealt with infidelity or betrayal in the relationship

  • Couples with busy schedules preventing regular weekly therapy sessions

  • Couples wanting to address issues quickly and make substantial progress in a short period of time

Couples that intensive therapy is not suited for:

  • Domestic abuse

  • Emotional abuse

  • People not in recovery for their addiction

  • Untreated mental health problems in one or both partners
